The Dubbo Osteoporosis Epidemiology Study which began in 1989 is the world’s longest running large-scale study of osteoporotic fractures in men and women. From our office in Dubbo we assess and measure all participants in the study. Our computers are a critical tool for our information gathering.
We work with IT West because of their prompt attention to our distress calls and their friendly efficient service. They have on several occasions been able to carry out repairs to office PC’s that were causing us grief and they provide us with continual backup.
We are now on a No Worries Support Plan which I feel is one of the biggest benefits we now have. It means IT West are providing continuous coverage of all the PC’s in the clinic. I don’t have to worry about them any more.

What is great about IT West’s service is that the majority of our problems can be fixed remotely, and therefore, we do not have to wait for someone to travel to Warren. Recently, one of our computers crashed as the hard drive failed. The data was corrupt and un-retrievable, but luckily our IT West No Worries Backup was up to date and was easily transferred onto the new computer. We did lose some days downtime, but overall IT West’s serviced helped us sort out our dilemma quickly and efficiently. A few years ago we had a Small Business Server installed to support our administration and care staff with up to date technology. We experienced a run of difficulties with the system earlier this year and decided enough was enough. We called IT West.
